Wedge in a music Video.....
Discussion
I am a member of many car clubs and I got an e-mail from one some time back asking for any members of that club who had a 1980's car for use in a video shoot for an up-and-coming artist.
Needless to say I jumped at the chance of getting my wedge involved, it was a VERY long night shoot, and because the director took a bit of a shine to my TVR (well you can't get much more 1980's than a wedge?) I was there for the whole night.
I'm over the moon with the results, the group is called "I am Harlequin" (www.iamharlequin.com) some of their other music has featured on the TV Programme Skins, and the video (for the track "something else") is on that site but also at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6VDUUqYEFs on youtube.
I'd like to thank all involved in the shoot, but especially the Oxford Classic Motor Club and the director of the video, for making it possible for my car to be in the video.

Yeah all things considered Wedgeinald is behaving nicely. The pop ups work, but like most never move at exactly the same time!

On the shaving front, shows you how long a night it was....LOL....
The actor playing the werewolf struggled with my clutch, so all the "action" shots with the car were me driving....but he was in that makeup for at least 6 hours, maybe longer, so he had enough to contend with.
Was well worth the long night filiming.

He does - must be a mobile barber nearby - just stubble in the last scene - and the mop tidied up too ;^)
...ZigaThis video is another example of the eighties revival thing that all the young hipsters are into these days.
Take a walk down Shoreditch way and you'll find every fashion victim dressed like they stepped out of Fame.
I saw Zig in Shoreditch the other week in a Rah Rah skirt & luminous green pop socks, quite some sight I can tell you.
Lets face it boys, you can't get more 80's than a Wedge.
They say you've only got to wait, and everything will come back into fashion.
Aesthetically the Wedge is back, it's a fact!

Does that mean that wearing sunglasses in dark nightclubs will be back in fashion soon then?.......Take a walk down Shoreditch way and you'll find every fashion victim dressed like they stepped out of Fame.
