OK then, there are many cars that we all wish we had bought when they were affordable that have now rocketed in value.
I used to own a Lotus 340r, sold it, then the EVO article came out naming it 2nd best drivers car. A week later they were being sold for £8/9k more than I sold it for. BUGGER.
The NSX seems to be making a comback at the moment with high prices being asked for them.
Which cars do YOU think will be the next to see a large price hike?

Hard to say as most have already rocketed up in the last 3 years.
I'm still surprised how iconic Jap cars haven't gone up more, probably due to numbers and snobbery.
In the longer term I think mint R32 Skylines, Supra Twin turbos, RX7s must appreciate and even the humble MX5 Mk1 as they are being killed off in huge numbers.
I'm unsure why good 944 turbos are still so cheap.
Surely the best 80's hot hatches are due a revival too.

I'm especially bad at this - In the past I've sold an E30 M3, an early mini and a late Integrale at a fraction of today's value. 
I wonder about the Alfa GTA - I have a mint 147 with 30,000 mile and it's only worth £6k-ish. Wouldn't be shocked to see that increase within a few years.

)I think that cars that are made in smallish numbers And have something about them do pretty well.
I'd love an M3 CSL, Alfa SZ, Porsche 968 ClubSport or Honda NSX.
I do think the Alfa will be the one to go up in value over the next few years.
I'm sure I read somewhere that to import and use cars in the USA they need to be over a certain age and the Alfa is coming up to that age.

Talking of the Jag XJS. What about the Lister XJS. THAT is a beast and pretty rare.
I'd be a bit worried of something going wrong though as some are bored out to 7 litres AND twin supercharged.
That's a lot of horses for an old car like that.
They do look hard as nails and are supposed to sound amazing too.
