997 - Tough Choices!

Hi all, I am currently looking for a used 997 and have narrowed down my search to 4 options. I have always hankered after a C4S Cabriolet, and it sits in my list, but i have also found a few other options that have turned my head....
I need help! I am certainly not an expert behind the wheel and hence any 997 is likely to put a smile on my face, although i have had my share or quicker than average cars..
Basic details on the choices (with key spec)
997 (05) Carrera Cab Black/Stone Grey, Man, PSE, BOSE, Sports Seats, 15k miles, FSH
997 (54) Carrera S Atlas/Black, Man, Sports Chrono, Sports Seats, 29k miles, FSH (Specialist)
997 (55) Carrera 4 Silver/Black, Tip, BOSE, PSM, 17k miles, FSH
997 (06) Carrera 4S Black/Black, Sport Chrono, BOSE, PASM, PSM, Sports Seats 47k miles, FSH (though one small gap)
All of the above are similar prices and I am really not sure which way to jump..... always preferred low mileage and a little concerned about 47k on an 06 hence favouring the standard cab at the mo (although a little nervous of Stone Grey (preference is Black)...
Anyone fancy pitching in?

Is the S that much better than the standard carrera? For a first timer?
I guess I have one eye on resale also (I know many think that's not the way to go into a purchase like this), and am wondering over the toss up between mileage and model.....and I hear PSE might help soften the blow on a standard carrera?

As they are similar money now and use the same fuel etc I would always prefer a Carrera S myself as it is more powerful and personally dont see the point of 4WD in a 997 as everything I have read on them says they have a hell of a lot of grip anyway 
With regards to options not nerd enough to know but would think PASM and the Sport Chrono pack would be two useful ones to have and maybe an uprated stereo.

I'm the proud owner of a 997 C2S, I've driven a couple of variants before deciding the C2S was my choice. You don't really need 4 wheel drive in the 997s as they're so well balanced, maybe I wasn't driving the C4S right but I felt like it understeered a bit too much, as if it'd been built to do that as opposed to what it wanted to do (4-wheel drift). I wouldn't bother with a standard C2/C4, their prices seem to be going down rather quickly, which unfortunately does have a knock-on effect with the other models, although their residuals fall slower and by less.
Irrespective of resale value I think the PSE is a fantastic option to have. It's relatively quiet for day-to-day driving, but hammer that sport button (and any true petrolhead will have it on all the time) and it makes a world of difference, particularly on the move. The Sports Chrono is also a must as it gives you the sports choice in the first place.
A 911 will last for at least triple the 47k you're worried about. Servicing intervals are every 20,000 miles or 2 years although people who care for the car will get it done yearly - be wary if there's a big gap between services. I implore you to get one with a decent warranty, though, as if anything goes wrong with it the bills are enormous. Mine's a 2005 model with 52k on the clock (I bought it at 49k about 2 months ago) and my air con compressor has expired, which is ~£900 to repair. Thankfully it's under warranty so isn't costing me anything. The PSE has a habit of expiring if you use it a lot (i.e. as it should be done), and that's a few bob to replace too, so you'll want that covered under warranty too - any decent garage will provide a comprehensive warranty. I bought mine from a Bentley garage and even my wiper blades are covered under their warranty.
Above all else, you'll absolutely love the 997s. They're fantastic cars and you know you're driving something that's been screwed together properly. Depending on where you are in London, I'm in Morden/Wimbledon quite often to visit family and friends and I'm happy to take you out in my C2S and let you have a quick drive if it'll help you make your mind up.
