Was it CliveF that was building this? Did it ever get put into a car? I'd love to hear this beast running evil

Clive built a Griffith with an AJP but it wasn't turbo'd.

I thought it was someone putting it in some kind of Vauxhall first? Maybe a calibra? It definatly wasn't a Cerb but he talked about doing that once it worked in his donor car.

yep fatjon on here .. has gone a bit quiet but I know he's a busy guy so maybe on the back-burner for now. Or maybe it's quietly racking up the miles incognito? I hope he comes on and gives us an update, a really interesting project from someone who's no stranger to high bhp turbo projects.

Ah i remember that one but didn't someone have a real go at him about the quality of his welding or something? Totally unnecessary and thinking about it wasn't it the guy who had been involved in the Pheonix (Ash iirc) that had a go?

Certainly under tyre'd, unless you do some serious rear arch work.

Assuming the Cerb 4.5ltr is 1,100kg if so with 750bhp it would have a crazy682bhp per tonne....

Also im assuming it could if geared correctly pull close to 300mph....

More like 1300kg with enough fuel.

Never gonna hit 300, it will flip over or you'd end up in the trees as the front had gone so light you lost control before you get anywhere near that sort of speed. laugh

Do they get loose at the front near 200mph in the 4.5 ltr?

They get pretty light at 155 tbh, compared to other cars I have driven at those speeds.
