Lifted the bonnet to show some people what a real engine looks like at the weekend and the answer was: rather dusty and grubby due to 40,000 miles of use !

Anyone got some good recommendations for cleaning under there without introducing runaway corrosion or any other nasty problems ?

Elbow grease, a rag and Armorall can work. I'd offer to help you but I'm off to Corvettes at Carlisle in an hour.
See you in a week guys.................

I use Autoglym. It is non chemical ( Organic????), I believe and does a great job without ruining my drive. I also use tyre cleaner on the hoses and black plastic bits. I am sure that this isn't necessarily the best way but it works for me!

I use "Son of a Gun" on the plastic parts. That said, not much road junk gets thrown up in Vegas so its easier to keep it clean.

You're just showing off now aren't you ?!!

The weather's been so bad in August this year that I'm afaid the electrics will get drowned even if I merely open the bonnet !

I've seen your product at work, it certainly gets in to those hard-to-reach areas well. Have you thought of franchising it ?

Mind that bike !

Think the product name is a little long, how about we shorten it to "Lou Kleen" ?
