A Tuscan overseas

Several of us on the forum will have taken our cars overseas, and this post is really to re-iterate to anyone considering it, either a new or existing owner, to simply go for it.
Having just returned from a 6 day Alpine/Dolomites tour of some 1440 miles, this now takes the trips my Tuscan has undertaken in 7+yrs of ownership to 4 Le Mans, 1 trip to Northern/Western Scotland, 2 Alpine/Dolomites trips and 1 Northern Spanish road trip. All of these have taken place without any issues, despite putting the car under considerable and varied pressures (mountain passes/continued twisties, long motorway runs at speed, traffic jams (!)) which it has coped with admirably.
Admittedly I have owned the car for a long time with over 35k miles under the bonnet and it is religiously serviced and warmed-up, but the point remains - don't hold back due to perceived fears about reliability. These are cars which need to be regularly and robustly driven, the case in point being that out of our group, 6 of the 9 vehicles were TVR's and none had any problems.
