CLK320 CDI Question

Hi

In the next couple of months I will be changing my car and these have caught my eye. One question though. Do these come with the flappy paddle gearchange? My Brother has a CLK280 Sport Convertible which has them but looking at pictures I cant see if any of the diesel Coupe's do.

I recall it was an option when I ordered my CLK 320 CDI in 2007, but I wasn't sure it would suit the engine. With the 7 speed box and narrow rev band, you would be forever pulling on the paddles. In my experience, flappy paddles are more suited to a petrol engine with a much wider rev band.

If I remember right, paddles were standard on the sport models.

I think they had to be specced, but were only avalable on the Sport. Mine was a Sport, but didn't have them as standard.
