Scrapping a European car in the UK
Discussion
The brakes on my girlfriends Pug 106 are knackered. Fortunately this was realised just as she was pulling out on a quiet road.
There's a bit more work needing doing that probably puts it beyond economical repair although it's generally fairly tidy.
Unfortunately it's LHD and Spanish registered. Anyone know a London based scrappy that might be prepared to take it. She's called a couple without luck. As it doesn't have a V5 is this going to be simply impossible?
It's not safe to drive with the brakes as they are and it's now picking up tickets and it'd be better to have it taken away before the council get to it.
Any ideas?

Dumping it and making it a council 'problem' would simply place an additional burden on the local taxpayers.
These people may be worth a call. If they can't help dispose of the Pug, they may be able to advise someone who can.
