Turbo Chimaera at this years Growl
Discussion
Did the kit in this car transform into a TVR Power upgrade? Just did a google search on 'TVR Turbo',and the following link comes up:
www.tvrpower.co.uk/upgrades/rv8-turbo/
Looks familiar to the conversion in the car at the Growl - £4200 inc. VAT
Are they the same beast, and is it still available from the guy at the Growl as a kit?

The car at the Growl was Eann Whalley's (TorqueV8) conversion and is about to appear with a Megasquirt ECU option. I'm going with Eann in a week or so to get it properly mapped and then there'll be a piece in Sprint to follow.
Three years in the development should mean a tried and tested solution.

Sounds interesting, I was reading through the posts about the TVR Power kit yesterday evening - which seems very similar.
Power will not support Megasuirt ECUs (I understand the reasons, type approval, warranty, etc.) so it looks like Eanns kit would be quite attractive as I have a MS2 at present.
In the short term, I'm up to Sunny (hoping there!) Chesterfield this Saturday to see if we can get a decent map into the MS2 for the 4.6 I've just fitted. Running a bit rich at the moment, so may have to stop a couple of times to refuel on the way up there (70 miles!!).
The Power kit is £4200 fitted, or £3300 as a kit - seemed to be various on the price for Eanns kit without any MS2/ECU mod - looks to be £2450 - but is this with/without VAT (£2940 with VAT)?

Prices will be sorted soon for Eann's kit, I'm not sure that Eann is VAT registered.V8 GRF said:

His own car??Three years in the development should mean a tried and tested solution.
There was a white (same colour as Andreas 500) on Sunday (was it?) that I though was Powers?? I know Martin (jeboa) was parked near it so may be referring to that one.
