Sold my GSRX motorbike last week for £5K - was given a forged bankers draft (it had an epping branch stamp and also a watermark - i did at least try and check) The bank bounced the draft, insurance company said no chance (as I handed over the keys). These guys were eastern european, i was a little suspiuous but just though it was down to language/cultural differences - i logged their car reg - turnd out that was stolen as well.
Firstly and foremost don't be a muppet like me, dont trust a bankers draft and wait for the draft to clear (please dont shout out "of course you should stupid" - i feel bad enough already) , secondly does anyone think there is any chance of fighting the insurance company and getting them to overturn their decision ?
