Flattish Battery
Discussion
Went to start the car this morning, it tried to turn over but not enough juice in the battery to start it, bogger !
The ammeter dial on the dash has been showing a constant 14v on recent journeys, hopefully the alternator is OK. The battery is less than a year old, should be OK. The car has only been left for 3 days.
Where to start looking before I take it to the garage and get bent over ?
2004 Cayenne 4.5S
Any thoughts please ?

Unlikely I'll be able to trace the cable from under the passenger seat to the starter motor at the roadside . Looks like I'll be off to the garage .
Thanks for the replies.
Just connect a jump lead from the battery straight onto the positive terminal on the starter - if it starts first turn, then the cable is at fault. Thanks for the replies.
