I think mine need changing - time has made them hard and squeaky.

I was reading on another thread that people recommend silicone ones.

Anyone tried any? What fits?

Thanks

Not heard of them but I changed to a big aero blade on the drivers side, can't remember exact size, maybe 24". Removed the passenger side, looks miles better and only one wiper blade to fail/replace. Vision is unaffected

I have the ones that Duncan told me to buy - they look nicer and work really well.

Got "spat at" the other day in the smallest of rain showers and the wiper (have taken the passenger side one off) worked really well!

First time I have used the wiper since May.

So with the single aero blade setup do I assume that you revert back to the earlier spray nozzle setup for screen cleaning (as opposed to the nozzle bar on the wiper blade setup)?

I don't like the single wiper look. I went for two Bosch wipers from halfords and the storm wash system for spraying. Search eBay for storm wash. Well worth the spend.

I have always had the hose on the wiper blades and it still works fine, just plugged the hose to the passenger side when I removed it.

I don't geddit - you said earlier that you only have one blade over the driver's side - so you don't have a passenger side? scratchchin

Mole valley put Aero style of blades on mine a while back and one of them took off on the motorway narrowly missing the Porsche behind me. It was only on the car for a few weeks and my theory (probably wrong) was at speed the spring on the wiper arm wasn't strong enough to keep the blade down. As soon as the blade 'grabbed' on the dry patch of screen it went for a burton!

Correct, I removed the wiper arm and blade... Then plugged the hose under the clam which runs along the bulkhead to the passenger side.
