BMW Z4M Roadster

cant claim i took the picture, it was taken by the previous owner a few days before i collected it. Loving the car, my first BMW and my first M car. its not the last word in handling by any stretch, but it has bags of character and makes you think about what you are doing more than many cars i've had which sort everything out for you. its only done 12500 miles, has never been out in the wet, and the engine bay looks like new.

Yes, the engine was the principal reason I bought it. I couldn't say no when I saw the condition of it. So where was the snow capped mountains picture taken? The idea of days like that are the reason I bought mine... I'm thinking about driving to the Italian lakes next year... Did the CSL's affect ride and handling? I quite like the oem wheels to be honest, but those CSL's look good. I would want the csl carbon intake before doing the wheels though....
We had a tent and camping gear in the back as well as luggage! I have a vx220 now its actually only slightly smaller overall in the boot but you have to work hard to fill the gaps in. Too much like hard work these days. Me and a pal struggled with basic luggage on a recent ring trip.
Z4M, VX220, Apls? This is my kind of thread!!
Car is beautiful. I was following the thread of the Z4 Forums, congrats. I sold my Monaco Blue Z4M Roadster in January to buy my new house. Also just to back from a road trip, Spa, Monza and the Alpine passes including Stelvio, Grimsel and Furka in my brothers VX220 Turbo. It was great fun. We camped for some of it too. Amazing what you can get in a little sports car.
I've just bought myself another Z4 as I missed my Z4M so much!

Thats my other fave Z colour Col.... great photo. a lot of people seem to say they regret parting with a Z4M...
I'm looking forward to some similar road trips next year i have to say. I find the handling is right for the car. I was interested in Chris Harris' article about the Z4 handling. I dont think it is dynamically the last word either, and there are clearly many quicker cars, however, i find it great fun, and having driven some of the same roads already i find it much more entertaining than the 987S boxster i had back in 06.
