I know they shouldn't live in the same hutch

but is there any reason they shouldn't live above each other in a hutch like this?

pets-at-home say they shouldn't but couldn't give a reason.

No reason at all that I can think of.

My rabbit Snoopy and guinea pig Zippy used to live in the same cage when I was young, and they were perfectly content with each other.

I was told it's down to Rabbits being territorial and having a different diet to the guinea pigs.
Separate cage/hutch is fine, wouldn't put them in the same one though.

They can live together but there is risk of the bunny bullying the piggie and you are not necessarily going to know that until they're together!

See, now I always thought it was fine to keep the two together. Everydays a schoolday these days....
