2.5 GTO new turbos needed

Oh well it had to happen sooner or later and looks like sooner, need to replace or rebuild turbos and heads gotta come off valve seals as well...
Anybody out there running reliable useable 2.5 liter car running Gts or something else , im doing about 8,000 miles a year so want it to be drivable not just track car!
Is there such thing as uprated head gaskets for 2.5 GTO as they seem to be a weekness running higher boost levels and mine has had all the bottem end done i.e Forged pistons ect

Mark, you can replace stem seals without lifting the heads. I did the valve springs in situ. Dom.

Just have to be careful not to drop valves into cylinder. Just turn engine so piston is TDC before doing that cylinder so no chance of loosing valves.

Personally if you need new turbos then put on the GT25s

Thanx for your messages evrybody i must admit i do like the sound of these Gt25s,will the GT25s fit straight on or are these the ones that need a flange change,
and where is the best place to purchace them from is it Garrat themselfs?
Once changed to the GT25s apart from a remap is there any other changes i.e exhuast,fuel pump or is it just a straight bolt on upgrade for a 2.5 GTO

I understand that they will fit but really the flange on the exhaust should be changed

You could fit a pair of 3.0 turbos

will the 3 lit turbos bolt straight on or is that a flange change as well....
Sorry quickly getting confussed!!
Not to concerned about the exspenss of the turbos just dont want to make loads and loads of adaptions to get the best out of the car

The answer is yes and no. sorry

They do fit but not correctly so the proper way to do it would be to change the flange on the exhaust.

If you have a std exhaust then you can maybe get away with just using the 3.o down pipe to the rest of the exhaust.

Years ago when I fitted the 3.0 exhaust to my 2.5, I had to keep the 2.5 down pipe.
