991 manual box - auto rev matching introduced?
Discussion
I had missed this... I think only other car I had seen it on was the Nissan 370z... (possibly 350z too actually...).
From PH Paris Motorshow coverage :
"... Manual 911s with the optional Sport Chrono pack have added responsiveness, automatically double-declutching during downshifts in Sport Plus mode".
Interesting feat actually... Wonder what existing manual owners will think though? Are being offered the upgrade?

Rev-matching is one thing, where the engine speed is increased during the shift (i.e. whilst de-clutching is being carried out) but actual double de-clutching is another, which involves a shift to neutral, release clutch pedal, increase engine speed, depress clutch pedal, shift to lower gear, release pedal again. To automate this process you need something to operate the clutch mechanism automatically - I can't see the manual cars having this
