They are safe, but only from getting scammed....nothing to do with bloody road safety!
Gets on your nerves when something that is so obvious to us all gets ignored by the speed nazis.

exactly. i've seen quick a few articles recently along these lines but things aren't changing...

we should all go out there and run down a few people at 30mph to prove a point.

hummm... maybe i'm approaching this situation from a bl00dy stupid point of view i wish someone had said the same thing to themselves in 1997!

You're deluding yourselves I'm afraid people. The groups behind this campaign don't give a fig about facts, common sense or morality. The agenda is beyond mere revenue generation (although that's a convenient side effect) and there is a lot of powerful support for these self appointed 'experts'
