dash display playing up

It is all related to speed and mileage. There is no analogue or digital output and my trip meter stays at zero, mileometer is showing 1560.9 instead around 11270 miles and does not change. Could all this be related to the speed sensor or the dash battery. Everything else on the display is ok. Any ideas thanks Paul

Definitely the speed sensor. You could try giving it a good clean but I find when they do this a new one is needed. I have got through about 4 or 5 in 9 years of ownership! The last one has lasted 4 years though.

Thanks i did give it a clean over the weekend and no difference so it looks like i need a new one
