Voisin C27

eta - C26 maybe? On second thoughts I think the 27 was a 2 door...

Frightening Art Deco (cut Moquette?) upholstery in the PB winner, too...

Gabriel Voisin was an aero engineer and his designs reflected it.
Someone once said that his cars looked like they were designed by a man who knew all about cars but had never actually seen one...

the C25 aerodyne has a sliding roof panel, special in these days. Le Corbusier, The famous architect, drove Voisin cars.

The same car was at the Goodwood Revival - stunning.

it had the same upholstery as the Pebble beach car above which would be painful to look at for any length of time! Imagine the clash if the lady in the dress sat in the car...

Pre war French cars were all RHD. They swapped sides overnight around 1945 (?) causing a degree of chaos which you still experience today around the peripherique.
Hotchkiss cars stayed RHD right up to the end, in 1955 when they were merged with Delahaye
