Bi turbo straight six

Was going through the comments in the thread on ideas for the next vantage, noticed that no one mintiond a tt I6.

Remember first hearing of a biturbo I6 ( very exciting) being developed by AM, last I heardthat they kept blowing up, this was over a year ago, then every thing went quit!

Any news on this,or has it been scraped?

Wasn't bad enough to warrant it being scrapped though

But very interesting point though. With all the major companies bringing the CO2 emissions down, it would make sense to TT an i6 for the new vantage. Just be a shame to lose the beautiful noise.

Was this that utter joke that they put into their Le Mans prototype? I was in the stands when both cars failed to last 10 mins of a 24hr race, it was a disgrace.

That was a straight six, 2 litre turbo. Sounded crap and was weak, useless and embarrassing.
