MK4 Golf Tdi MAF help.

My car is a PD115 but has a load of upgrades including a PD150 intake but it is still on the standard air box i believe.
The MAF has gone and i have been out and bought a new 150 unit, It fits fine at the pipe end but when i try to fit it in the airbox the hole diameter is too small.
My question is, If i buy the top half of the casing will it fit the standard air box or are 150 air boxes bigger?
