At last my first Se7en is purchased. R300. 10 months old. Can't wait to pick it up this weekend.

20 years of admiring everyone that ever went past.

So one bit of help insurance! where is best. 47 years young, clean license. etc Tried Adrian Flux £450. 4000 mile limit. euro cover etc included. any better places ?????

Give Frank Pickles a try, don't have the number to hand but a quick Google search should get you there.

Try Greenlight.

I'm paying £270 a year for 3000 miles on my Roadsport 140.

MSM Insurance has a great reputation on Blatchat for being good should you need to claim, and are keenly priced too.

No switchboards either. www.msminsurance.co.uk

Congratulations. I found Adrian Flux dear. Granted mine is a 1.6K and I'm 41 but Adrian Flux were quoting almost £300 compared to the £150-200 I was getting elsewhere. Aviva have a 15 weeks free offer at the moment too.

Adrian Flux were one of the dearest too when looking at a TVR.

Try Mary Singleton @ REIS (0115 985 0165) very good price and service for both our 7 and 21.

Careful when picking your insurer in case you want to try a trackday, some will not provide any level of track insurance (MSM I believe), some include a number of free days (REIS) and others charge on a day basis.

REIS give a discount to Lotus 7 club members.
That, anong with various other member benefits, may well cover the cost of membership :-)
Added to which, club membership can put you in touch with other like minded owners and entusiasts!
Where in the country are you?

Glad you found Frank Pickles useful, by pure coincidence you bought your car from the other Caterham owner in my village! Have fun!
