Trying to find my Fathers old M3 CS
Discussion
Hi guys, I've decided to search for my dads old car, he passed away shortly after selling it utterly out of the blue, and for me his car is my ultimate reminder of him

We sold it about 3 years ago, it had just shy of 13k miles on it, a trafficmaster satnav with a crazy little LCD screen sticking out of the dash, a GPS gizmo sat on the dash, and a trafficmaster button on the dash behind the indicator stalk.
It was a manual with grey leather.
If anyone owns it, or has seen it could you please point me in the direction of where it is?
Cheers

erm, I donn't know? I'll give them a call, cheers
You might have to fabricate a reason for needing to know... car left parked on private property etc etc. I've never tried it, but plenty of civil recovery companies seem able to extract data from the DVLA, so it would be a shame if you can't too!Gruber said:

Yeah that seems to be the case, if I can't find it on a forum I might contact the DVLA and enclose a letter and paid envelope with the hope that they pass my contact details on to the current owner.Have a look at this thread on M3cutters mate. Has a list of all the CS ever made and a few owners listed as well.

Good luck op. I find this very poignant. I encouraged my Mum to sell my Dad's beautiful A8 after we lost him even though I could of had it for myself, I would of found the constant reminder too painful.
This wasn't his last car, he'd just got an XF S, which my mum gave me, but to be honest I had to get rid of it, the Jag isn't the car that reminds me of him, he'd always wanted an M3, he only had one, it was immaculate
I have just had a quick look at the DVLA, it was taxed up until June this year, see below. Unfortunately next to the vehicle export marker there is a 'Y' - I can only assume this Y is for yes, and it means it has been exported? I might be wrong though...
Best of luck with your search.
