Developed a small drippy leak on the high pressure hose from the PAS pump to the rack

Any ideas part code, best place to source one and ease of fitting???

There's a guy advertising in the classified who will sell you a set. Or you can take the existing one to a hydraulics specialist and they should be able to make a new one.

Fitting is relatively easy, getting the old one unscrewed from the pump can be a bugger. I had to remove the pump from the engine and hold it in a vice. Plenty of penetrating fluid and left to soak overnight and a long lever sorted it though

Without wishing to hijack this thread, what should the clutch piston you refer to in accessed through the bell housing be greased with ie white grease or copper slip ? or doesn't it matter.

I got my complete set from jonnyZ, to access my pump i removed the 'header tank I think' it's the tall unit with the brass nut on top.

Jack up the front of the car to take the front wheels off the floor and let the engine idle whilst turning the steering wheel lock to lock (don't hold on lock as that's bad) all the time checking the level in the res pot & keep doing this until the whining subsides then drop the car back onto its front wheels smile jobs a good-un thumbup
