996 Exhaust Options

My 996 exhaust has developed a blow today. Getting it looked at tomorrow to see if repair is an option, but if not just want an idea of options for new exhaust.
I have see Milltek do one for £650+ without tailpipes! Seems expensive.... What other options?
Do many people get custom exhausts made for these?

One of my friends has had a Carnewal back box system.....it gives a nice low speed rumble growing to a howl when you press the 'loud' pedal. Yes, you still need the original tips but then it still looks like a stock system.
