I've had 3 doses of oral morphine and I want another! They are holding out on me. I need sleep and I'm bored obviously so on here.

Apparently I can't have a sleeping pill either

Sideways sad face

Sorry x

the morphine is great isn't it?! however just you wait till you can't piss and don't have a st for a week

when you go home you might get dihydrocodine or maybe Vicodin which is dihydrocodone

both are pretty good at making you space out

Yeah, ask for some Lactulose, morning and night, it'll make you fart like a good'un but you'll be sorry without it...

Mate of mine broke his wrist snowboarding (that'll teach him)....the doctor gave him Morpheine to take and self administer. Unfortunately said mate misunderstood the dose and managed to OD on morpheine......not good. Lucky to be alive...that drive to the hospital was not good.

Wow! This morning was interesting. Got home yesterday morning after an extra. Ight stay due to a complication with a abdominal drain removal.
Woke up, awful tummy gripping. Toilet was horrific! I took a laxative night before and it's safe to say I pood for England. I felt awfully sick and it took me half hour to clear out.

The morphine was good but boy did I pay for it. I'm too scared now to take the co-codonal. Eek.

I was on morphine for nearly a week (intravenous) after I broke my back / tore bowel/intestine - crazy stuff - had dreams about spiders crawling all over me & riding in inflatable helicopters smile

As I'm sure you can imagine, morphine, a lapascoptomy for the torn bowel and another major op for my back resulted in no <cough> movement for over a week....couldn't push and had to wait for gravity to do its work!

Good to hear you're out of hospital OP - they do wonderful things, but can be very boring (and somewhat scary) places at times......

Eek, that sounds awful. I'm afraid to say I don't deserve any sympathy, the surgery is completely cosmetic. The hospital bit I liked as I feel like I'm more of a burden here. At least in the hospital I was paying to be looked after.
