Personally I'm not too sure I blame the bloke!

Shame we can't get some kind of reciprocal deal where we can have courts to give horrible, feral little sts a good kicking.

The whole idea of having adults go to a 'kids court' and apologise for speeding will do nothing except erode the authority of adults over children. Many of the yoof problems of today are due to a total lack of respect for their elders and authority. Who ever thought this very PC idea up should be sent to a desert island where they can't do anymore harm.

Given there was apparently no police officer present; what would have happened if the motorist had just driven away? S172 in the post?

Is that a failing to stop?
I'm not so sure as they weren't proper coppers and I thought use of speed guns that bring a conviction had to be used by a Police Officer with the proper training.

I agree about this apologising to the kids thing. How ridiculous that you get stopped and then you're made to apologise to a bunch of sniggering school. Demeaning and embarrasing. I would still have took that option though.

Just apologise in a really sarcastic voice, like the kids would wink

There is never any excuse for that kind of behaviour (if true) in front of children, simply because your either too stupid to watch your speed, or too full of your own self importance and think your above reproach for whatever your do.

Agreed about the "kids court" bkss though, its not really going to help the situation. but still no excuse for acting like an (alleged) tt.

Shouldn't the creator of this scheme also apologise to the children for putting them in that position in the first place?
I'm not saying the ranting bloke is a right, but its hardly surprising that it happened really is it?

stopped by an untrained fake copper and a bunch of kids.

tell them to do one and drive away. good actions from the Audi driver and he will be found not guilty.

Or sincerely apologise and promise to make it up to them, while wearing a t-shirt that says "I heart sexy kids".

No chance, the magistrates will take a dim view of him acting the tt in front of kids.

You sure? He sounds like a prized bellend to me.

And 37 past a school is just stupid.

It wouldn't take 2minutes to humour the kids and give an apology.

I think if you feel 37 past a school is OK, you'll probably think kicking off is OK too. As much as the scheme seems a little crass, the bloke seems a bellend.

Lucky they didn't stop a roller with a track suit wearing, cigar smoking geriatric in. It, he would have made it up to them in a special way...... To soon?

On topic, I disagree with the apology to a kids court, and on them stopping the car. What if he had got out and been violent, or worse. If they want the kids involved he should be sent to the normal court and process and the kids should attend a morning where their catch is processed.

I also agree with the above, this undermines adults and makes them think that sorry is enough, further breeding an ASBO generation, sorry the brick slipped.

My 2p and due to inflation it's not worth much!

"It is claimed that after being stopped by the children from Gorsey Bank primary in Wilmslow, Mr Priest said to the PCSO: ‘It’s a ******* joke, you’re PCSOs and not even proper ***s’. "

"...and not even propers ***s'" - would someone actually say not even proper...pigs?...filths?...bds? I too would question the PCSOs recollection of events...

Secondly, I'll bet there wasn't a proper risk assessment done - I know, I know, but bear with me - whoever had the brilliant idea of putting easily offended primary school children into a front-line policing role where conflict is almost inevitable wants their swede examining...

So you put some school children at the side of a road, and then blame the traffic for creating a dangerous situation.
Brilliant.
