Ryan air flights
Discussion
Ryanair are fine if you take them for what they are, expect nothing and book early. Only take carry on and check in online.
You'll be fine. I travelled from Dublin and back every weekend for about a year and never had a bad experience with them, other than they land those birds hard!

It's all pretty clear on the website, just don't try and 'cheat' the system. Don't take more baggage than you're allowed/paid for, don't think they'll let you off if you've missed or forgotten something. Do check in online and print the ticket.
This is all you need to know and do.It normally costs us more to park the car at the airport than it does for four of us to fly to Sweden. First on Emirates it aint so don't expect any more than what it is.
December 2010 I got a text at 7.30am telling me my flight home at lunchtime had been cancelled and to contact them for a refund. That was it. No apology, date/time of next flight (3 days later, as it happens), nothing.
Booked an extra night in the hotel and flights home with another airline via Birmingham the next day and another overnight stay there. Unsurprisingly, all we got back from Ryanair was the price of their cancelled flight.

Never had any problems with them or EasyJet. A lot of the issues IMO are people with "snob" isues
I'm happy to fly Easyjet. Just think Ryanair are plain shiite. Easyjet are fine.
Ryanair are a hateful, hateful company run by a hateful, hateful man.
ETA - I also hate the way the general consensus is to fly with someone else if you don't like them. Believe me, I wish I could, but they're the only airline that fly to some places from the UK so one has little choice but to use them....

Or people who are a bit thick and get "caught out" by the charges. It states you must do X, Y and Z otherwise they will charge you... The amount of people that cant even follow that is immense, then they scream, bh and whine about it.
OP as long as you can follow the terms and conditions then you will be fine.
Turn up with carry on luggage that is overweight, then they will charge you to put it in the hold (circa £50 for return flight), so you have been warned.

Why do they do this I wonder? Every time I land on a Ryanair plane, its always with an almighty BANG.You'll be fine. I travelled from Dublin and back every weekend for about a year and never had a bad experience with them, other than they land those birds hard!
I've not experienced this with any other airline.
