Hand car wash places

I had never used one of these until today, and I will never use one again.

The car is almost as dirty as before they started.

Here are some of the highlights, needless to say, I didn't pay, and they didn't argue.

Mine are really good, charge afiver, and even use the two bucket method so that they don't scratch the car. Always do a good job, always get a tip.

These guys used a karcher jet wash, they charge £3

I know it's only an Insignia, but wait until you get that paint under some halogen lamps....Swirltastic!

They used shampoo......it was the sponge they didn't use!

Mine too, Lithuanians who are very fussy, use grit guards in the buckets & make a damn good job. My only concern is they use a mega strong TFR which strips any polish you have.

Yep, no sponge, just a brush attachment on the jet wash.

I'm going to do the job properly by hand later.

The one local to me is brilliant, charge a Tenner inside and out and always do a good job. There are a good 8 people washing your car at any given time so it's quick aswell!

I don't trust any of these places to wash my car.

Although if I had to, I'd take one of the hand car wash places where there are about 6 workers on your car, over those guys in supermarket car parks walking about with that trolley

In all honesty regardless of how good a car was place is, it will never be as good a job as I could do myself.

The only benefit of paying these places is convenience, it's certainly not the quality of work they do.

The ones near me do a decent job but all that acidic TFR stuff is not good. I only go to them when the weather is crappy and I don't want the road salt on my car.
