Anyone else doing the Falling Leaves Wiggle ride on Saturday?

my brother in law is doing the Sunday epic, weather not looking good

I'm also doing the epic road ride but on the Saturday.

Well for the Road ride Sunday turned out to be best, went and spotted the BIL at a few spots along the route, looks a nice ride especially in today's sun. Falling leaves was err... wet, very wet with a bit of added water! I ride the forest a lot and that was as water logged as I've seen it, the gravel tracks were washed away in places.

Managed a 2.49 for the 40 miles, well inside the Gold time so was happy given the conditions.

Guess some people swapped along the route to standard, fastest time apparently was by someone that started after me and finished before me but no-one overtook me on the route..

Got to work out how to defeat cramp though, started at 20 miles when I stopped to open a gate

I suspect it was trigger by over doing it through the particularly waterlogged stretch leading up to this, spun along an an easier gear for a while and it eased but frustrating all the same.

More training then before the Hill-o-Saurus in November
