Hello everyone,

I'm delighted to be back in the S Series club after a 7 year absence. Kids came along. I have even managed to get back the car I had 7 years ago. I got it back from my Dad, who has looked after it very well. It's an S3C from 92

I've attempted to search in the forum but couldn't find anything about central locking? My car has it but it's not working. Where are the solenoids located? Is it a la Chim and in the door pillar rather than the door itself?
I'm slowly working through a niggle list. I've cleaned up a couple of the earthing points but they are in pretty good nick so don't expect that to have much effect.

Thanks

Ed

On mine solenoids are in door and originally operated from key.

Same here - pop the door card off and they are at the rear of the door alongside the lock and latch..

Thanks for the answers.
Looks like I'll be taking the door cards off at the weekend.
I'll see if I can get the right size wing nuts this time!
