What's the most convenient hotel for an early morning flight out of Terminal 3, flown from there a few times but never that early (by convenient I mean easiest transfer from hotel to T3)

It wasn't an early start but we recently stopped at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, it was around 5-10 mins with one of the hotel chauffeurs. Don't know how much the transfer would have cost though as it was included in our Park & Fly deal.

There's a hotel which you walk from, through a tunnel, straight into the airport. can't recall what it's called but it's practically on site. We stayed there and it was great - had to go and park the car and get a coach back and we booked the cases in the night before so the morning stroll was very relaxed.

The one with the tunnel is the Hilton at T4.

Closest to T3 would be Bath Road hotels:

  • Park Inn
  • Sheraton Skyline
  • Renaissance
  • Heathrow Marriott
  • Premier Inn (Bath Road).
Or the Holiday Inn M4 Junction 4 / Crowne Plaza aren't far away either.

Stayed at the lot as used to have an office in Stockley Park. They're mostly all OK.

In the Premier Inn tomorrow night - got it for £40 for 2 of us.

Edit - all these are served by the hotel hoppa bus which is £4 each way if I remember right. Otherwise taxi, although taxis from these hotels to the terminals can be priceyish.

Try the Ibis on the Bath Road. Through booking.com or a similar site I can usually get a room only rate of £35. Hoppa bus to all the terminals.

We've used Heathrow Cottages a few times. Great service.

The big red buses are free around the airport perimeter. This includes all the ones along the Bath Road (A4).
Hope this helps (unless you are flying at stupid o'clock).

I stayed at the Thistle hotel recently.

I wouldn't put my dead dog in there.

Express train takes 15 minutes into Paddington, do you have to stay at the airport, wish I hadn't.

9.30 flight to Brisbane so don't really fancy being up around 3am before that and I am on holiday so that night is penciled in for the hotel bar.
