My friend returned last week from a road trip in the US and took these snaps in Death Valley. Thought they might be of interest to people on here - not the best pics in the work I know.....

I can't work out what it is....so thought I'd open it up to 'the knowledge'.

I think the car parked next to it in the last photo is an electric Chevy Volt. There is one at our local dealer.

would have thought the 1/4 would be quicker.
