Engine Rebuilders In NW England?

Greetings PH'ers!

I would like to have the bottom end rebuilt on an E30 318i M40 engine. I reside in the Southport area. I would be interested to hear any recommendations re good engine rebuilders/re-manufacturers in the Merseyside/Lancashire area.

Bumped this as contemplating getting my capris 2.8i lump rebuilt next year n guess he who could do an e30 could do mine ok.

Might be better in the northwest thread tho?

Greetings! I live in the same area, and work in the trade so will ask around. Your bigger problem is finding somebody with the willingness to do it.

Have you tried Linwar motors down Virginia St? I'm not suggesting they do it, they'd want an arm and a leg, but might know a man who can..
