Wait - you're saying to get big mushroom slices I should slice big mushrooms? All these years I've been compressing small mushrooms into large mushroom bricks.

What a waste of time.

I'm firmly in the Ribeye camp myself. Possibly due to my own kitchen incompetence, I find Rump hard to get "just right".

I take issue with mushrooms though. They are the Spawn of Satan himself. Though, one of those does bear a passing resemblance to my moustache.....

I slice the ribeye thinly so it doesn't take long to cook.
At the end of the day and you hungry you don't want to be waiting any longer than nessesary.

I made a steak sandwich not so long ago, but used a sirloin instead...

In the end I decided against using the bag of grass and made the tomatoes into a chutney, so it was just steak, chutney, blue cheese and English mustard.

And a bottle of chianti, ftt ftt ftt ftt....
