Does anyone have the metal round chimaera-style gearknob fitted in their V6? Where can I get (order) one?

The sierra gearknob and handbrake cover have been annoying me from day one. I recently got the Leven handbrake cover at the dutch TVR-dealer, great material! Now I would like to have the chimaera-style round knob fitted, but this doesn't fit the S gearbox. Now I've seen great knobs at Redline (with TVR-logo engraved), but their site seems to be offline for quite a while.

Its held on by a hidden grub screw, but it holds firm unlike some others I have had.

I have a grub screw one, cost me £8 from a mini show. It's identical to the ones on my mini.

When you do get an alloy one fill it with silicone sealer before fitting it on top of the lever. It stops some of the buzzing noise that the S can suffer with.

Mine was approx. £10, just an aftermarket alloy job but nice and tasteful. I also have a matching handbrake sleeve, universal type with different collars to fit around the button and one was a perfect fit. Click on my profile in a few minutes and I'll have posted a photo there.

Sorry, it's an old photo and doesn't show the handbrake lever. I'll post it tonight from home if I get a moment between packing boxes!

I've seen the redline knob. Looks fantastic! I've tried to visit their site, but it's out of order for a while. Do you have some contact info from Redline ? Maybe I can ring them up and order by phone.

Thanks!
