The Fry Up Pie
Discussion
This is one my friend & i 'invented', i say invented, but somebody may / probably has done this somewhere else before.
It was thought up whilst immensley hungover one day, but it was a few weeks until we implemented it.
We figured 2 of the UK's favourite foods are pies (if you're Northern) & fry-ups.
Why not combine the 2?
Take 1 pie dish, line the bottom with buttered bread & layer some chopped tomato's, add fried off sausages (chopped),bacon (cut into strips), mushrooms (quatered). (all lightly browned not crucified).
Some black pudding, (chopped & some baked beans over the top.
Then make a scrambled egg mixture up, however don't make scrambled eggs from it, a generous helping of black pepper.
Take a packet (or 2) of the jus'roll flaky pastry, roll out enough to cover the dish, top & cook in the oven until the pastry has browned.
Consume.
Let me know what you think, it's worth a try (in my opinion).
