HPI Shows lease/finance outstanding
Discussion
I've found a 60-plate Audi TT I'm interested in and as its a fair distance away, most of my negotiations have been via e-mail. The dealer has been pretty half-hearted, not replying to mails etc, bit I've now agreed a part-ex price and, subject to inspection, have agreed to look at it next weekend.
However an HPI check has shown finance in the form of a lease outstanding. The company is associated credit limited. Speaking to the dealer, he says his company are part of that group and, to be fair, ACL's website has a description of their activities and a link to the dealers site through which lessees cars can be sold at the end of the lease.
I'm still wary though, so any advice as to hw to proceed?
Cheers
