Roundabout Morons

Found this recently and almost had me doubting my actions at roundabouts:

I normally wait for cars coming from my right until there's none or a decent enough gap for me to go - regardless of whether I was at the roundabout first or not.
Perhaps if I now squeeze my front wheels pass the line before the other car to my right, I have priority.
This explains the actions of some I've seen recently, all old drivers who seem to take the 'I was waiting before you so I'll pull out in front of you' thought.
Only this morning, after waiting for vehicles from my right who were all turning right, I (and the car next to me - 2 lanes on & off) followed the last car across only to have an oldie pull out from my left who had obviously waited for long enough.

hmmm, i certainly would not pull when a car approaching from the right to a roundabout was only 20m away and not looking like they would stop. I also make sure i slow down at mini roundabouts incase the idiot to my left decides to go - seems to happen a lot in the Reading area.
All drivers bar yourself are idiots - that's the best way to think on the road i say! (but you cant be complacent of course!)

Better check that Highway Code.
IIRC it mentions priority to the right and also says watch out for traffic already on the roundabout.

On approaching a roundabout take notice and act on all the information available to you, including traffic signs, traffic lights and lane markings which direct you into the correct lane. You should
•use Mirrors – Signal – Manoeuvre at all stages
•decide as early as possible which exit you need to take
•give an appropriate signal (see Rule 186). Time your signals so as not to confuse other road users
•get into the correct lane
•adjust your speed and position to fit in with traffic conditions
•be aware of the speed and position of all the road users around you

•check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without giving way. If so, proceed, but still look to the right before joining
•watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all
•look forward before moving off to make sure traffic in front has moved off
