You know how small things snowball into bigger things?

I've been putting off the drooping mirror syndrome for a bit, and since my driver's window mechanism broke I haven't been able to adjust the mirror when sitting in the car - rendering it useless.. I kept meaning to do something about the mirror and plan to attack the window tomorrow (until i can find the time to take it in for an electric window conversion)...

So, no external rear view mirror + stuck window + rain = fogged up interior. Fogged up interior + cluttered driveway = accident waiting to happen.

So yesterday I reversed the car up the drive, straight into the motorbike I park there! No damage tot he bike but a smashed rear driver's side light cluster frown

It is (once again - and I see the pattern that's emerging here) it's all my fault, I'm starting to think I don't deserve a TVR as the only issues I have had so far have all been self inflicted!

On the plus side today I came across a NOS set or rear lights for a Mk4 Escort, literally as new condition, in their boxes - so obviously I bought them!

I've also ordered some SMT/LED bulbs as i plan on lightly tinting the lights before fitting them..

Every small triumph is a point to the TVR owner.
One small step on the never ending journey to the finished car!
Well done.
I finally fitted the new pair of rear light units that I got when I bought the car 12 months ago, it really smartens up the rear end!
