Rained on again!!

Ok, I've got to admit I have stepped over the mark. I shot home last night to clean the S as the weather looked ok. Got the wax on and half off before the heavens opened. 
So, I kinda took the morning off work to clean the car. Polished, 2 coats of wax, rainX, polished the exhaust pipe, the lot. Got to work, put the shower cap on, the lo and behold it bl**dy rains again!

I've given up washing/polishing the car as I can't get a clear run of 2 hours to do it without any rain so far!
Just popped out to the car at lunchtime and I got absolutely soaked to the skin ....sitting here now completely saturated and shivering.
Perhaps I should be moving to better climes not 10 miles West of where I am now!
With our torquey cars and some long cables, we could try towing the UK closer to france next S meet.
After the rolling road session at Austec today, one of the lads did a fantastic job spraying, washing, spraying and then drying the S. We hopped in, the drizzle started, and by the time we were pulling out of the industrial estate the heavens had opened
Just very pleased we put the top back on! I need a cover anyway, the car is leaking. I asked Paul to drill a few holes in the footwells, he came over, opened them up, and found two bathtub sized plugs, one in each footwell. I assume this is not normal, but a custom british-weather-induced custom job??
