Unusual problem

I normally post a few makes higher up the list but I have had an XJR from new which is used as my station car. It has done 132k and is like a reliable comfy chair.
When driving back from the station this evening I noticed that some of the roof lining had become detached from the roof. Although it was not enough to obstruct rear viewing, it is less that ideal. Does any one here know of a fix for this because if I took it to an upholsterer, I imagine that it would cost more than the car is worth.
