Think it's a Boseman Rainbow (??). Quite big. Got a red blob on one side, and is red around a gill. Seems a bit miserable. Anything I can add to water to help?

Can you check the water parameters, get a cheap test kit that will tell you how good/bad your water is.
Your local fish shop will have these, along with various water additives should you need them.
