Nice car, but I can't help thinking that his asking price is a little optimistic...

Before Larry. Rod ran 6.75 in 2009 i believe, and held the record we were after with RV3.
That is why when we ran 6.71 at the main event my crew jumped up and down a lot.
Edit: It was 2008 that he ran the 6.75.

I would if someone was willing to pay that amount. Realistically i'd ask for 250k,which sounds a lot, but try building one, then setting records with it for less...biggrin
I'm not selling it though..

The ebay advert claims that it ran 6.75 in road trim ! i assume that means treaded tyres and no wheelie bars ?....really ?

ET streets and wheelie bars. USA road trim is a tad different than UK.
He does what i do. Changes wheels and tyres and wheelie bars off for the street.

Just watched this on " MotorsTV". cool

Not a discipline I generally pay a lot of attention to but stumbled across it on the telly, spotted the PH logos, thought I'd have a nose in here ... and hey presto!

Highly impressive engineering. Hats off to you and your team. smile

Cheers,

Eric smile

Best have a read of the build thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... Be prepared to lose hours reading the thread though.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was RV3 up for sale! I thought that was strange as I thought Andy had begun to get RV3 ready for next year, so why whould he sell it? Then I saw the op was about the Corvette. I do like the Corvette apart from the turbos. They should be low down, so they don't spoil the lines of the car.
