Factory Satnav on old barges
Discussion
What is the view on old satnavs - doesn't their ABSENSE make cars like MB W220 or BMW E38 much more desirable? Even the one I had in my X350 was simply horrible and looked as LEGO manufactured it. Same goes for the old-shape XK8, where the non-Satnav cars have three lovely instruments in the dash.
Usually these cars come with all other toys, which would be the selling point for me!
I always use Google Navigation on my Tablet as a sat nav, search simply by company name e.g. "Volvo Doncaster" or "Halfords" & up to date maps, permanently! Ok so my data useage is quite high, but still worth it!

Agree, you generally find cars that are have the OEM sat nav have every other extra as well which can be a bonus if your not paying over the odds.I always use Google Navigation on my Tablet as a sat nav, search simply by company name e.g. "Volvo Doncaster" or "Halfords" & up to date maps, permanently!
