No not totally . But let's be honet to many big engined oil burners easily keep up these days . A part of the original appeal for me was performance, as well as having something different and British . I love my car , but am really torn what to do !!!!

Audi R8 V10 price new £112,675.

Stick a SC or a couple of turbo's on the 450, sort the suspension, upgrade the brakes, all for a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the cost of the R8 and you'll be underwhelmed no more. And you'll still have that awesome soundtrack, and that manic grin that isn't an optional extra wink

Limit yourself to three thousand rpm and no more than a quarter throttle for a few days and then when you let loose again it'll feel quick again.

I know I'm sad, but back in the day, I used to do that all week and let loose at the weekend.

Oh, and get the upgrades!
