Just had my renewal come through for my multy car policy and it's over double last years. The Noble is about the same but they want nearly a grand for my Saab and a grand for my wife's ML. I had an accident in the Saab in May so expected a small rise against my protected No claims but my wife only rang to enquire about damage caused by hail storms but they recorded it as a claim. When I called they said it's classed as an incident even though no claim was made.

To make mattes worse they are quoting half the price on the comparison sites as a new customer with the claim details in! Won't touch them with a barge pole again.

Your renewal will always be more. Ring them and tell them AGEAS have quoted u a lot cheaper. AGEAS are a broker only provider so they can't check it.

My renewal for my 2 cars was 3123. I ended up paying 1153. With same ppl on a multi car.

Separate policies for me.

LV for the VW Scirocco - £360
CCI for my modified Noble - £670

CCI is by far the best considering they include 5 track days and the excess for track is £1500. Compared to Manning that wanted 10% of the car value.

The person who you are on the phone too, if you tell them some1 has given you a cheaper quote they will check it if they can online. You can only buy and quote AGEAS through a broker so they can not check if your telling the truth or not so will discount to get a close the the figure you've told them.

The noble cost me 604 this year which is pretty good considering the state of my driviNg license.

So a good tip thanks - but perhaps not for an open forum on which petrolheaded type insurers may read! wink

Under £200 with Elephant, and I'm not a particularly brilliant risk it seems as the X5 is still around £1000 per year.

No track days etc. but stunning value.

Admiral multicar for me,

went up big time this year (they are ALL such crooks!) but still not too bad considering me + wife fully comp on both Impreza P1 + Noble! Around 1.3k all in.

Always used REIS, 4 free track days and £520 so not too bad. Could have had 457 on Admiral but preferred the free TD bonus.
My 340R which was around the same value considerably rarer with a difficulty in sourcing many parts was only 310 so was shocked at the jump but they say its down to the power increase.
Craig.

It was admiral that used to insure mine. Only get to find out how good they are when there is an issue. Won't use them again.
