cheap car magazines
Discussion
Up until recently, there where two local markets with last months magazines for sale at about 75p each
However one has gone and one is under notice as the site is being redeveloped
So is anyone aware of a similar system online or by post? Or any other markets in the grays/Southend/billericay/wickford areas?
Cheers

Tried some googles
Or is the magazine market just printing less due to lack of demand/the internet/or ecomentalist pressures?
Its that they are printing less, if they were £1 in the first place then they might sell more.Tried some googles

Harry from evo magazine says the circulation is a 3rd of what it was 10 years ago and on the decline.
I can see more of them going to an e-zine style.

All will be shifting to the downloadable type, annoying as it just causes the proper mags to go up in money due to making less.Harry from evo magazine says the circulation is a 3rd of what it was 10 years ago and on the decline.

As good as the tablets are theirs nothing better than reading the proper pages on the loo come Sunday afternoon.

Exactly, if they didn't want nearly a fiver for each copy I'd probably buy more. I take full advantage of the "three for a pound" trial offers that appear regularly, but I've got so many magazines I really don't buy them any more. And once you've been buying classic car magazines for a few years there's a tendency to repeat the subjects. Obviously modern printing techniques give better quality, but that gets lost in electronic versions.Harry from evo magazine says the circulation is a 3rd of what it was 10 years ago and on the decline.

The bookshop at Rayleigh Lanes used to do 1 month+ old magazines for about a quid a pop, it's been a few years since I've been there though, so can't be certain if they still do.
will give that a try, thank youit's odd, i know i can get a huge amount of info over the net, forums etc
but there is something still to be said for paper!!!

So if they were cheaper you would probably buy more but you have so many you really dont buy them regardless of price?but I've got so many magazines I really don't buy them any more.
The prices are up as production is down, im surprised they have stayed as cheap as they are for this long.

I agree, can't beat a good mag to read. And as After_Shock said, a tablet just doesn't do it for loo reading material...
