Insuring multiple cars
Discussion
I live in London and currently have a Caterham and Integra R. Want to purchase something else but need to ensure I get the insurance in the most efficient way possible.
Have 2 policies, both with 10+ years for which I use one on the Honda and reflect this on the 7. If I buy a new car (911 or Elise), I presume I will have to use my second lot of NCB on that?
What if I then want to get a runaround, am I down to zero no-claims for that car? All cars are parked underground in secure storage if that makes any difference. With an Elise/911, the annual insurance bill the way I am doing it i.e. using 2 lots of NCB with one reflected on the 7 is about £2k which seems a lot. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

Thanks - can I insure the Lotus or Porsche (S1 Elise or 3.2Carrera/SC) on a classic policy as well given the Caterham is reflected in the Honda's insurance i.e. have 2 classic cars? It will do 6-8k miles p.a.
Alternatively, I presume I could have 2 main cars (Honda and a run around) with the Lotus/Porsche as the reflected classic vehicle on the runabout policy?
I need to speak to some insurers this week!
