Got a friend that needs a bit of a tune/set-up running wise as the tick over is a bit lumpy. Apparently it needs a machine with a special plug so needs someone with Mazda gear*.
She'd like to avoid main dealer costs so any indies in the Portsmouth area?

  • I've no idea if this is correct or not just going by what other garages have told her.

Hint taken biggrin

Was just hoping for something a bit nearer to Portsmouth, as she would need to get it over there and leave it type of thing.
I could do the good thing and offer a lift.

MX-5 Parts are in Fratton.
I've bought plenty of stuff from them over the years but never had any work done by them, I wouldn't have any problem with them doing so though.
Had some welding work done by Autolink and they were fantastic.

Is there anyone nearer to Worthing? I think mine is going to need some work soon.

No worries.
And yep, I have; I'm over on Longacres (off Hunts Pond Road) if you know where that is. smile

There's a PHer who is an MX-5 owner and over near Worthing, I'll point him in the direction of this thread to see if he has any suggestions.

Another recommendation for Garath here! Knows MX5s inside out and his prices are excellent!
